1) Starts The Wood Stove Everytime. - These are perfect for starting my wood stove. No smell of any kind, two sticks start up a load of seasoned wood every time with no smoke escaping. I used about 60 sticks so far, all lit right up with a strong flame for 8 minutes.

2) Great firestarter for wood stoves - Great firestarter for wood stoves.
I have two wood stoves, one is a traditional wood stove and one is an insert. Previously, we would use old newspaper and junk mail and assorted combustibles in order to get the fires in the house started on a daily basis. More recently, we've taken to using sawdust combined with wax to make fire starters for the fireplace. I got tired of the whole process of making the firestarters and turned to see what Amazon had for firestarters.
Deciding to go with the large box of Fatwood, I was not disappointed. These start almost immediately once a flame is held to them. Opening the box they have a great smell which fades in time, but we keep a large steel bucket of these on the mantle at all times. All you need to do is load up the firebox and tuck one of these in there with the damper fully open. In about 5 minutes, you'll have a roaring fire and you can go about your merry business. It is definitely worth the price for the convenience that these provide on a daily basis. Will plan on buying these again once my previous box is done!
